Holy place for sub-culture in Tokyo: SHIMOKITAZAWA

Shimokitaza (aka SHIMOKITA) is one of the most popular area that young Japanese want to live.
Shimokita’s sub-culture are about music, theater, and art.
It is about 10 min by train from Shinjuku and Shinbuya stations so it is super easy place to visit as well.

There are many cafes as well as restaurants for foodies to enjoy.
Try and go upstairs of the buildings as well- you will find amazing shops everywhere.
This restaurant that I really like is called “Rongsura” thai restaurant.
When you enter the shop, you can hear Thai music and you can have absolutely amazing
Thai food in the middle of Tokyo.
Its not fancy place but cozy and I can go alone to chill out anytime too.
