Part 3: Sumiyoshi Shrine festival – Day 1

%e5%88%9d%e6%97%a5_1Beginning of the festival, a fictitious lion figure will visit the shrine. Banners for the pillars is up, festive music are playing, and all the neighborhood people – young and old are out celebrating this special festival.  On the first day of the festival, a fictitious lion figure will walk around the shrine and then will head to all the neighborhood to bless people.
