Where to Visit in Nikko for Coffee Lovers

It’s already the end of May 2018… Ah, means I’ve been lazy.

However, I’ve got something to tell.   And it’s a nice and beneficial info for all of you who plan to visit to Nikko city in Japan, especially for coffee lovers around the world.

This little, tidy, stylish cafe is named “Tora”. Its name is inspired by one of the most popular Japanese movies in 1980 to 90s, “Tora-san” series.

The location is really convenient.   Just within five minutes from both of Tobu-Nikko station and JR Nikko station on foot.   You can have hand-dripped coffee, sandwich, snacks, etc before you go sightseeing to the world heritages or Lake Chuzenji.   The flavor of coffee is really rich, which I guarantee.

Also they have kind staffs.   One of them is a fluent English speaker, so you don’t need to worry about the communication.  You should just be happy about their hospitality.

What’s good about Tora is it is not only a cafe, but also a guest-house.  Actually guest-house floor is under construction, but should be opened in a couple of weeks, they say.

Nice and chilled places are worth remembering.  Tora is your choice in Nikko then.

p.s. The movie “Tora-San” series is heartwarming.  Please watch if you’re interested.

by for now.
